About the Project
EMGo was a project Harrison worked on in a business accelerator at RIT over the summer of 2019. The accelerator was an intensive 10-week course focused on teaching young entrepreneurs the value and process of customer discovery. EMGo was created as an exploratory business brand of NXT. The purpose of EMGo was to learn more about the neurotechnology business landscape, talk with potential users to better understand their challenges, and looking into potential pathways for distribution for NXT. The following is the final 6-minute pitch deck that was delivered at the end of the program.
The product that NXT decided to do market research on was its Thought Keyboard. This was a motor-imagery based EEG device that would move a selector around on the screen and is currently in development. By far the most valuable part of this program was learning the process of customer discovery and receiving user feedback.
